Golden Fairy Tale Collection (Peter Haddock Ltd)

This series of 10 books published by Peter Haddock Ltd (Bridlington, England) in 1988 was printed in Italy and likely first published in Italian. The series appears to have been first published in English in 1980 in Canada by Tormont Publications as Great Fairy Tale Classics and was republished in 1990 by Gallery Books, also as the Golden Fairy Tale Collection. At least some of the collection was also published in 1990 by Smithmark Books (without a collection title).

The collection has been published in multiple other languages, and there are two books that don't appear to have been translated into English but would translate as The Story of Prince Ivan and Other Tales and The Story of Gulliver and Other Tales.

The author (reteller) of these fairy tales was Peter Holeinone, also known in the English language world for his Great Fairy Tale Treasure Chest books. There were several illustrators across the series: Tony Wolf (7), Piero Cattaneo (2), and Severino Baraldi (1).
