I love children's literature. Silver Bells and Cockle Shells is where I share reviews of vintage nursery rhyme collections, vintage fairy tale collections, and other vintage picture books. I may occasionally review newer books, too.
Vintage: Between 20 and 99 years old
My main goal is to share my love for these works with others who may remember them, and inspire new readers to enjoy these older works, too. I hope to shine a spotlight on authors and illustrators who may not be so well-known today and to help preserve knowledge of these vintage children's books.
